Our Prosciutto comes from Galloni, a family business renowned for their quality. This Prosciutto is known as "Red Label", due to the deep red color of the meat from its long, 16+ month maturation time.
We slice our Prosciutto to order, as it should be, and wrap it in proper butcher paper to avoid suffocating the product. While Prosciutto will not easily spoil, the flavor is best when consumed within several days.
All of our Prosciutto is sliced paper thin, but if you prefer a thicker cut, please enter a comment at checkout.
Pairing Suggestion: Hard Italian cheeses, such as aged Pecorinos, Parmigiano Reggiano or Asiago Vecchio. Fruity reds and bright sparkling wines will complement the salty & sweet flavors of the meat - try a light Chianti, Lambrusco or Moscato.
